22.9.2016 Yan Jun-Seiji Morimoto and Parallel Asteroid at 15 Year Anniversary of Club der polnischen Versager

It´s the 15 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of legendary Club der polnischen Versager in Berlin. We are proud to be considered worthy Versagers and therefore being invited to play a concert with Parallel Asteroid in the frame of the celebration. Joining us for this concert is a duo of brilliant musicians from China and Japan currently residing in Berlin. The great Yan Jun and Seiji Morimoto will perform their duo and eventually join us for a quartet set at the end of the evening.

We are aiming to start on time, which is 20:00. So be there early to check out a man-sized nose hanging from the wall, get a shot of polish Vodka and a cosy seat in the front row.

Yan Jun, musician and poet. born in lanzhou in 1973. based in beijing. currently lives in berlin for artist residency (daad). he is working on improvised music, experimental music, field recording, organizing and writing. alongside of at venues, he goes to audience’s home to play with the environment and what else available in the room (Living Room Tour project). and doing noise hypnotizing at any place for small amount of audiences. also amplifying body movements or other performative elements in a simple manner. he is member of FEN, Tea Rockers Quintet and Impro Committee. and founder of the guerrilla label Sub Jam. yanjun.org

Seiji Morimoto is a Berlin based artist creating sound performances, installations and videos. He is interested in the uncertain acoustic appearances between usual objects, for example water and stones, and the technical medium.
